Healing Paws

Back to Main Story:A dog’s best friend

Healing Paws is a programme run by the Humane Society to train dogs from the shelter to bring comfort and affection to people in Cayman who are outside of mainstream society.

Residents at the Pines and students at the Lighthouse School and the Sunrise Adult Centre were the first to be visited.

The concept integrates shelter dogs with the community, and anyone who has adopted a dog, or is interested in doing so, is welcome to volunteer for the programme.
