Back to Main Story: Scrumptious seasonal delights
- 1 pack strawberries
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 cup strawberry sauce
Prepare (or purchase) meringue and crumble into pieces.
Cut strawberries in quarters (and add other berries or fruit if you like).
Strawberry sauce can be made by heating strawberries, sugar and water. Once cool, blend and push through a sieve. Reheat and thicken with corn starch.
Set aside to cool.
Whip sugar and heavy cream to form a stiff peak. Add to a piping bag.
Refrigerate all ingredients for service.
Layer in a glass and serve.
