Bill the Builder
Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) involves a construction system whereby lightweight foam blocks, made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), are stacked together like Lego to make the desired wall shapes, which are then filled with concrete.
The EPS (foam) acts as insulation and allows concrete homes and commercial buildings to be built stronger and more energy efficient than those constructed with traditional concrete blocks.
Because ICF blocks create solid walls, they also offer greater resistance to hurricanes.
